Application form
The entire JEE main process for filling the details is only in online so candidates need not submit any documents to the authorities but they must upload their photograph, thumb impression as well as signature along with the application form.
- Registration – candidates have to register the form by giving details of their name, mobile, email etc. They should also choose the username and password for their login ID that must be kept safe for the entire duration of the JEE main 2017 process till the admission is completed.
- Fill the application form – After login, candidates should enter the details of board examination, personal details, guardian details, academic qualifications with contact details and JEE main 2017 examination details.
- Year of passing 12th or equivalent
Candidates who are appearing for their class 12 exams in 2017 need not enter their roll number of Class 12 but they will be required to enter the details while downloading their JEE main admit card. Select the year of appearing as 2017 that candidates appearing for the improvement examination in 2017.
- Aadhaar card details
Candidates have to fill their Aadhaar card number and their name, gender as well as the date of birth as entered in the Aadhaar card should match the details in the school records. If the candidates having a mismatch in details then they must get it corrected. Candidates who are not having an Aadhaar card should get one in order to apply for JEE main exam.
